Surrrrvey time boys n' girls! 1. What hobbies do you have? Reading and collecting comics (mostly Marvel & DC, but admittedly, I *do* have a few Image and Dark Horse thrown in for good measure as well!), collecting Star Wars, Transformers, Lord of the Rings, and Star Trek stuff, and roleplaying!
2. Who is your closest friend? Describe them and how you relate to them. Not to sound TOO lame, but my sister Pru is my best bud. She's AWESOME.
3. Who is your worst enemy? Describe them and why you don't get along. Oooooo... without a doubt, it's Smelly Dirtbag. See, I don't KNOW his actual name, but there's this big dirty smelly guy that shops at Shooting Star who CONSTANTLY berates my taste in comics and argues with me ANY TIME I SAY ANYTHING. Like, if I mention that I think Magneto is a great character? He'll chime in on how lame it was when they put him in charge of the X-Men, or when Jim Lee decided he had to be built like a bodybuilder or something. I HATE SMELLY DIRTBAG!
4. What bands do you like? Do you even pay attention? I really love The White Stripes and Dream Theater
5. What tape or CD hasn't left your player since your purchased it? Why? Dream Theater's "Images & Words". Oh wow... 'Pull Me Under' is like the best song EVER.
6. What song is "your song?" Why? I don't realy HAVE one. But I do kind of picture The Imperial March playing in the background anytime I walk into a room...
7. What's been your favorite movie of all time? Return of The Jedi. Seriously! Yes, yes, complain about the Ewoks ALL YOU WANT. Compared to Jar Jar Bink they look pretty darn cool now, huh? Also, the final fight between Luke and Vader? Epic much??? When has there BEEN a better battle in a movie? And then when Vader sacrifices himself to save Luke from Emperor Palpatine??? AHHHHH! BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!
8. Read any good books? What were they? ZOMG. The Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn is A-MAZ-ING. Every single SW character he touches, from Han and Leia to Lando and Luke, is just SO in-character that you have a hard time believing Lucas himself didn't write it. And it introduces Mara Jade into the Star Wars mythos, which, as ANYONE who knows ANYTHING about the EU knows, Mara Jade is DA BOMB!
9. What do you watch on the Television? All the different Star Trek series, some anime, and OF COURSE reruns of the old Transformers series.
10. When it comes to politics, do you care? If so, which way do you tend to vote? If not, why don't you care? I could care less. When I go to vote, I generally vote for Emperor Palpatine as a write-in on general principle.
